We’re bringing you games, trivia, and connection, all set against a backdrop of delightful mocktails and delicious small bites. Bring your enthusiasm and playful energy as we gear up for a fun-filled evening where there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Admission to the welcome party is included for Summit ticket holders and there are a few additional tickets available for others who want to join the fun.

Frequently Asked Questions

Holding Space for Healers is the theme we’ve chosen to commemorate this year’s Minority Mental Health Month. As a part of our celebration, we’re holding our Inaugural Therapist Summit for mental health professionals to network, share knowledge, and learn from leading experts in various fields through workshops and keynote presentations.

The Welcome Party on Thursday, July 18th and the Summit on Friday, July 19th will be held at Upstairs Atlanta. The venue is located across the street from Maynard Jackson High School.

  • If you purchased the Welcome Party & Summit package, your registration includes access to the Thursday night welcome party, and the Friday summit along with breakfast and lunch during the summit.
  • If you purchased a ticket for the Welcome Party, your ticket includes access to our Thursday night welcome party.

Upon registration, you should have received an information form via email. If you purchased multiple tickets, please be sure to forward this form to everyone who will be in attendance. This will ensure we have all of the necessary details. If you didn’t receive the form, please email us at event@therapyforblackgirls.com. 

At this time, we do not have a virtual option.

Tickets for the summit are non-refundable. However, they are transferable to another mental health professional if you are unable to attend. Please email event@therapyforblackgirls.com and provide your full name along with their full name, email, and phone number. This will all be confirmed at registration upon arrival.

While accommodations/lodging are not included in the registration, there are plenty of lodging options in the area. Use the address for Upstairs Atlanta to explore your options.

Transportation is not included for the events. Parking is available at Upstairs Atlanta but is limited. We encourage carpooling and rideshares if possible.

This event is designed to give you practical tools to expand your practice and an opportunity to play and connect. You’ll likely want to have a pen and paper, layered clothing so that you’re comfortable in the space, your enthusiasm, and great questions.

Meals are included for the following:

  • Thursday, July 18th: Welcome Party – Heavy hors d’oeuvres
  • Friday, July 19th: Summit – A Continental Breakfast and Lunch will be provided.

Continuing education credits will not be offered for the Summit.

Yes, but you will need to complete two different transactions. You should check out once with the number of All Access passes you would like and then check out again with the number of Welcome party tickets you would like.
