Self-Care Scholarship

We are excited to announce the winners of the Therapy for Black Girls University x Holding Space Foundation Self-Care Scholarship! Now in its second year, this scholarship is designed to support Black women in investing in their mental wellness and overall well-being, offering financial assistance without limitations.

Congratulations to this year’s four deserving recipients:

  • Jamea Mason, Morgan State University
  • Jayla Simone Meeks, American University Washington College of Law
  • Monet Heath, Howard University
  • Narindwa Semakula, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology

This scholarship, available to undergraduate and graduate students between the ages of 18-25, empowers young Black women to prioritize self-care—whether it’s signing up for a yoga class, booking a therapy session, or finding other ways to thrive in this stage of life and beyond.
